"A culture is not an abstract thing. It is a living, evolving process. The aim is to push beyond standard-setting and asserting human rights to make those standards a living reality for people everywhere.” Mary Robinson

It is true, the more you know about your friends, the better you understand them. The first meeting in Turkey in November 21st - 25th was a really opportunity to learn about Turkish culture and traditional lifestyle. We found out that people are certainly one of the most hospitable people in the world and their  culture still retains the characteristics of life born of civilization of a people once both powerful and sensitive on the northern shore of the Black Sea, where at the beginning of history, famous Amazons lived.

We met nice people and of course we had interesting activities together, students and teachers; it was quite amazing to work with people who I met for the first time and to get on with each other very well, sharing something about our cultures, developing activities of the project in best conditions and getting our goals for the first meeting.

I think that folklore and dance can be the key of tolerance, because music has the same language for everybody and dance is just an expression of the music....that means people can be more tolerant if he is more sensitive...
